All of the doctors in the East Lancashire Anaesthetic Group are experienced, highly trained anaesthetic consultants who all hold substantive positions in the NHS, and have done so for many years.

We provide anaesthetic services for The Beardwood Hospital, part of the circle health group. We also provide anaesthetic services for other private hospitals in and around Lancashire.

The care we provide for you begins with pre-operative preparation and advice, followed by the best possible care throughout surgery and during the post-operative period.

Within our group, we have anaesthetic expertise relevant to all the areas of surgery, including:

As Consultants in Anaesthesia:

• We have completed a medical degree, typically taking 5 years

• Undergone Junior doctor rotations for at least 2 years

• Completed specialist training in anaesthesia for at least 7 years

• Have been established consultants in anaesthesia since then, typically for many years
